Approximately 15 km to the south from county town of Nitra, in Municipality of Mojmírovce, there is a Manor House Mojmírovce, surrounded by a beautiful park. Manor house was built in 1721 in Baroque style for count Hunyadi, later it was rebuilt in Classicist style. The part of count Hunyadi’s manor was also English Landscape Park and horse barn. Hunyadi family was proud of big horse breeding farm with noble horses of Arabian, Spanish and Italian breed. In 1814 first horse races in Austria-Hungary were held in Urmín. Manor house as well as former horse breeding farm are nowadays rebuilt as original hotel and congress facility in historical style.
